As well as Joe Maxwell Engineering, Joe Maxwell is also director of sub-sea excavation company, SeaBed Systems and has designed and manufactured many of the tools and equipment that you can see on the website.

SeaBed Systems is a customer led company specialising in underwater excavation and harsh environment solutions, within the excavation, intervention and inspection sectors of underwater engineering.

We have the equipment and expertise to operate to full ocean depth, we have however elected to specialise in the often-overlooked shallow water regions of the world.

These Shallow water or Civil Engineering projects often utilise somewhat primitive or reverse engineered deep water equipment to perform tasks that they are ill suited to undertake resulting in inefficient and often expensive compromises which we believe need not be the case.
